Merry Christmas, Hanukkah Sameakh, Heri za Kwanzaa...

No matter which way you celebrate this most happy season, we wish you peace and many wonderful memories made with your family and friends.

I've been "busy" around here! Less computer time = more craft time. Leaving the camera home = focusing in the moment. Not sweating the small things = enjoying the BIG things.

Thanks to all of you that read, comment and share your lives. I'm still here, I am just taking a break. I plan to be back in full swing in January!

Joy!

It amazes me that I can contain myself until the day after Thanksgiving to pull out the Christmas decorations! I adore the whole month of December because everyone seems a bit cheerier. I love parties and the smell of apples and pine. I feel so fortunate to be able give to others. I love how gleeful the girls are to sip hot cocoa and watch Elf for the 439th time!

Christmas Craft

This was my quick pre-Turkey Day craft. It's the one indulgence I allowed myself before we even put the pies in the oven!

I came together quickly with leftover scrapbook paper, clearance-d Halloween ribbon, inexpensive canvas from the Dollar Store and Sparkle Mod Podge. If you haven't crafted with this amazing stuff yet; pick some up this Holiday season. You will love it! Here's what the girls and I used it for after Thanksgiving:
