Quick & Simple Holidays - Treats

This is the easiest and cutest holiday treat I've ever made, but I can't claim the idea. I took the girls to a birthday party where the same candy was presented with a tiny pink candy dot in the center, and thought I could change up the recipe for simple bags of treats as a little way to say thanks to co-workers or the girls' teachers.

I used about 70 Snyder's Pretzel snaps on my baking tray and topped each one with a Rolo candy. Preheat your oven to 375 F while you are unwrapping and eating a few Rolo candies. After you've loaded up your baking tray, sort through a bag of plain M&Ms for the colors you would like to use - in this case, red and green for Christmas.

Set aside your sorted M&Ms. Put your baking pan with Rolo topped pretzels in the oven for 1-2 minutes. Please, oh please, don't let the chocolate melt all over your pan! The goal is just to soften the Rolo candies enough to smoosh the M&Ms in the center of the caramel and chocolate.

Remove the soft, but not melted, candies from the oven. Quickly press a single M&M into each Rolo. Voila! Quick, simple and adorable treats! Plus? You can't beat salty caramel topped with chocolate, and your pals will ask over and over how you made the candy!

Someone mentioned to me they like to top the Rolo with a pecan half for a quick and easy pecan turtle candy - yum! What's your favorite easy Holiday treat?
